Why you should read Cruise Control Diet
I believe that your body intuitively knows how to stay healthy.
I have been severely ill in the past that it made me paralyzed on the bed. I discovered that eating the wrong foods and taking the wrong medication just made me even more ill. I stopped taking the wrong drugs, and I instantly felt healthier.

What is the Cruise Control Diet?
The problem you’re facing is that you go on and off diets trying to control your weight, but it never lasts. It makes you feel depressed about how much you weigh and how it makes you look. You lose control and become hopeless to try again.

The first phase is the hardest and most strict. It is also the most important, because this are the basics where you reset your metabolism. This phase lasts for only 2 weeks, but it requires the most willpower on your part. The good news is that once you have successfully gone through the first 2 weeks, the rest of the program becomes much easier.
2. The Cruise Control Phase
This phase is where your weight loss and fat loss will be on cruise control. This is less strict than the first phase, and it lasts for your practically your entire life because you adopt it as a lifestyle. It’s very easy to do and very difficult to get wrong. Once you do it right, you will lose your weight and it will never come back.
3. The Rapid Fat Burning Phase
The third phase is optional but highly recommended. It happens together during the second phase. It is not for beginners, but if you do it, you will get a feeling of well being, energy, and strength that is the peak condition of a 20 or 30 year old person.
The phases of this diet are designed to help you start losing weight with the least amount of effort necessary. As you can see, the most important phase is the first phase, which only lasts 2 weeks. This is where you will start to eat intuitively, following your body’s signals. Besides the Core Program, the Cruise Control Diet book consists of 2 other sections. These sections are the Cookbook and Jump Start Guide. The Cookbook is great to put in your kitchen since it contains over 70 recipes to create tasty and healthy foods to eat.
The recipes are made with the beginner in mind, which means that most of the recipes are easy to cook or prepare. There are a few recipes that require more work to prepare, but many of them you can cook in under 30 minutes.
A sample meal plan you can eat for a day consists of this menu:

- Rich Thai Chicken with Greens for lunch

All of the recipes above take less than 30 minutes each to cook. Unlike other diets where you are told to eat 5-6 times a day, James tells you to eat whenever you are feeling hungry and stop just before you feel full. He also writes several recipes that you can use as snacks if you are feeling peckish.
This diet gives you freedom to choose what you want to eat. However, if you are the type of person who wants to know EXACTLY what to eat, then the Jumpstart Guide is your best friend. In this guide, James gives you a complete grocery shopping list containing a list of foods to buy for your first week on this diet. If you repeat it again for a second week, then you’ve practically finished the first phase of the Cruise Control Diet. From this point forward, your body will be on cruise control and lose weight effortlessly.
What I love about this book
I personally don’t have much weight to lose, but after reading the book and eating the easiest recipe, I do feel healthier and have more energy as a result. If you’re still wondering whether this diet is any good, I will give you my independent review in the following points so you know the truth and more information about this diet:
1. The diet is supported by scientific research and data
James Ward is a man who doesn’t only write what works, but also WHY it works. Personally, for me this is important because it helps me to understand the processes that allow the rapid weight loss to occur. The beginning chapters give you these scientific explanations, and correct a few misguided paradigms to prevent your weight from ever coming back.
2. The recipes are healthy and tasty
This diet gives you plenty of tasty recipes to eat. James does warn that it will take some time for your body to get used to eating healthy, but once it does, the foods will taste even better. Not only that, you will also feel more satisfaction from your meals because you are eating the nutrition your body needs to be at best health.
3. You don’t have to go to the gym
This book is strictly a diet book. There are no exercises or workouts in it, at all. James believes that if you follow the diet in his book, you will lose the weight without doing any additional exercise, other than the movement you already do (such as walking, climbing the stairs, etc.). This is great if you are like me and hate going to the gym!
What I don’t like about this book
1. You pay a higher price to buy organic foods
James recommends you to buy locally grown organic foods as the ingredients for your meals. These organic foods can have a higher price than what you’re used to buying, depending on where you buy them. If this turns you off, remember what James says, “If you don’t pay it now, you’ll pay for it later with expensive medical bills.”
2. You won’t get a firm, toned body
Yes, you can lose weight and be slim with this diet. However, if you are looking to get that firm, toned body similar to Hollywood movie stars, then you will have to workout also. The diet alone will help you lose weight, but not necessarily get in shape. If you want to get in shape, you will have to add your own workout routines along with this diet.
Even though this book is not without its negative flaws, it is a legitimate diet book. There are many scam diet books out there that are fake and a hoax, but this one is not. Other than the criticism I’ve written above, in my research I couldn’t find any complaints from customers who have bought the book.

When you order this book, you get the physical book sent to your address. You also get access to an online members area, where you can login to download the ebook version, including other bonuses as part of your purchase. There is also an option to buy a video version of the course, where James will give you a visual demonstration on changing your eating habits to lose weight.
The price of this book is slightly higher than other similar options, but that’s because you get a hard copy sent to your home. Other options only give you a PDF version. Therefore, if you prefer a hard copy book you can hold in your hand compared to an ebook that sits on your computer, this product is a better choice. In my research, I was unable to find any special discounts that could cut the cost of buying this book.
Other options that you can consider include Weight Watchers by Jenny Craig. In fact, one of James’ customer felt Cruise Control Diet gave her too much freedom of choice, so she went back to Weight Watchers that has a stricter diet. Another option you can look at is the Venus Factor program made by John Barban. This is a great diet and workout program made especially for women, but it’s intended more for women who want to get a toned physique.
In short, this book is perfect for you if you are the type of person who lacks willpower to follow restrictive diets and have been struggling with eating habits for most of your life. If you want a way to eat that isn’t restrictive or expensive and helps you lose weight and be healthier overall, then consider the Cruise Control Diet.
